Diferencias en el rendimiento físico y técnico-táctico entre posiciones de juego en jugadoras de fútbol femenino en competiciones FIFA

Abstract

The aim of this study was to compare physical and technical-tactical performance between playing positions in official FIFA matches in elite female soccer players. A total of 39 official FIFA matches were analyzed (31 international friendlies, 3 from the 2019 World Cup in France, 2 Olympic playoffs and 3 2021 Olympic games) in 23 field players divided into 5 central defenders (DFC), 9 lateral defenders (DFL), 5 midfielders (MC) and 4 forwards (DL) from an elite national soccer team. Age = 27 ± 3.4 years; height = 162.4 ± 4.3 cm, body mass = 59.5 ± 4.6 kg. The study variables considered physical aspects such as total distance (DT), distance at high intensity (DAI), number of spikes (NP), maximum speed (VM), Playerload (PL), number of accelerations (AC) and decelerations (DES) and from the technical-tactical aspects, the offensive phase was analyzed (that is, in possession of the ball), number of passes (NPA), number of effective passes (NPAE) and percentage of effective passes (%PPAE). On the contrary, in the defensive phase (that is, without possession of the ball) number of duels (NDU), number of effective duels (NDUE) and percentage of effective duels (%DUE). The results of the study regarding the physical variables DT, PL, AC and DES showed significant differences (p < .05) with a large effect size and in the technical-tactical performance NPA, NPAE, NDU and PDUE showed significant differences (p < .05) with a large effect size between playing positions. The main conclusion is that the central defense position presented a lower amount of total distance, but a greater number of duels won and effective passes compared to the rest of the positions. Therefore, there are physical and technical-tactical differences between playing positions.

El objetivo de este estudio fue comparar el rendimiento físico y técnico-táctico entre posiciones de juego en partidos oficiales FIFA en jugadoras de fútbol de elite. Se analizaron un total de 39 partidos oficiales FIFA (31 amistosos internacionales, 3 de Mundial de Francia 2019, 2 repechaje olímpico y 3 juegos olímpicos 2021) en 23 jugadoras de campo divididas en 5 defensas centrales (DFC), 9defensas laterales (DFL), 5 mediocampistas (MC) y 4 delanteras(DL) de un equipo nacional defútbol de elite. Edad = 27 ± 3.4 años; estatura = 162.4 ± 4.3 cm, masa corporal = 59.5 ± 4.6 kg. Las variables de estudio consideraron aspectos físicos como la distancia total (DT), distancia a alta intensidad (DAI), número de piques (NP), velocidad máxima (VM), Playerload (PL), número de aceleraciones (AC) y desaceleraciones (DES) y desde los aspectos técnico-tácticos se analizó la fase ofensiva (es decir, en posesión del balón) número de pases(NPA), número de pases efectivos(NPAE) y porcentaje de pases efectivos (%PPAE). Por el contrario, en la fase defensiva (es decir, sin posesión del balón) número de duelos (NDU), número de duelos efectivos (NDUE) y porcentaje de duelos efectivos (%DUE). Los resultados del estudio en cuanto a las variables físicas DT, PL, AC y DES mostraron diferencias significativas (p<.05) con un tamaño del efecto grande y en el desempeño técnico-táctico NPA, NPAE, NDU y PDUE mostraron diferencias significativas (p < .05)con un tamaño de efecto grande entre las posiciones de juego. La principal conclusión es que es que la posición de defensa central presentó una menor cantidad de distancia total, pero mayor cantidad de duelos ganados y pases efectivos en comparación con el resto de posiciones.Por lo tanto,existen diferencias físicas y técnico-tácticas entre posiciones de juego.
