Addressing the educational needs arising from this demographic shift is crucial at the early childhood education level, where the foundation for mutual understanding in a multicultural context is established. In this regard, it is vital to underscore the role of Social Sciences education in cultivating democratic citizenship, with the overarching goal of equipping society to make collective, inclusive, and informed decisions that shape its actions. Achieving this requires educators proficient in these competencies, emphasizing the urgent need for strategies that support their professional development.
