| dc.description.abstract | The liquíd-liquid miscibi/íty curves are presented for 1,3- diiodopropane with heptane or heptadecane, for 1,4-diiodobutane with heptane, undecane, or heptadecane, and for 1,5-diiodopentane with pentadecane. The DISQUAC group-contribution model leads to qua/ítatively comct predictions of the miscibility curves of a,wdiiodoalkanes with n-alk.anes using the interaction parameters derived previously from vapor-liquid equilibria and excess enthalpies of 1-iodoalk.ane + n-alk.ane mixtures. | en_US |
