Abstract: Enthalpy-mixing measurements are reported at 298.15 K for triclúoromethane + n-alkanes (pentane throug/1 heptadecane). Ali die mixtures are endodiermic with molar excess end1alpies increasing regularly wid1 the chain lengt/1 of the n-alkane. The experimental equimolar vah,es for slwrt-chain n-alkanes agree widun better than 4 % wid1 DISQUAC predictions using previously published parameters. Systematic discrepancies (up to 10 %) are noted in mixtures with long-chain n-alkanes.
