Abstract: The Complutense University of Madrid is an institution with a long history and broad academic and social recognition, which aspires to be among the fi rst universities in Europe and to become, a ref erence institution for the African continent. In recent years, the Complutense University of Madrid has consolidated the Com plutense African School project. It is a training and research ini tiative with the main purpose of boosting a framework of inter national university cooperation, promoting activities that foster the link not only between institutions, but also especially among members of the university communities of Spain and Africa in the context of the university education and the sustainable develop ment goals (SDG 2030).
