Abstract: This chapter presents the results of a teaching intervention based on active learning and teamwork for enhancing students’ development of managerial skills. A quantitative and qualitative research design was followed to explore students’ opinions and outcomes. Results of the quantitative study show that students’ learning styles don’t affect the success of the intervention in terms of satisfaction with the methodology applied and the development of managerial skills. Besides, satisfaction with the teaching tools applied predicted satisfaction with the overall method and the development of managerial skills. Finally, the satisfaction with the methodology was a determinant of the managerial skills development. The findings of the qualitative analysis also revealed that teamwork, innovation, learning by doing, and skills development were the most important positive aspects of the teaching intervention. However, students highlighted teamwork challenges and workload as the main negative aspects.
