Issue Date: | 2006 | Journal: | Audiofonologia | Abstract: | Zastosowanie tomografu komputerowego Accuitomo 3D (3DX) w otologii jest nowatorskim rozwi¹zaniem diagnostycznym. Dotychczas metodê
tê stosowano w radiodiagnostyce, w periodontologii, endodoncji oraz implantologii dentystycznej. W pracy dokonano porównañ w wynikach

Application of the Accuitomo 3D computer tomography (Accuitomo 3D CT) in otology is a modern diagnostic solution. Literature data indicate mainly utility of this radiodiagnostic method in periodontology, endodontology and dental implantology. Authors show usefulness of the Accuit omo 3D CT in otology and especially in assessment of the middle ear structures of the patient. At the paper compared results of the HRCT and 3DX tests on the normal and changed by a disease structures of the ear. Special attention was given to the 3DX method imaging struc tures of the conductive system and cochlea. Both HRCT and 3DX methods image precisely anatomy of the tympanic cavity and inner ear. Being the high diagnostically effective the 3DX in many cases appears to be even more efficient and more friendly to a patient. |
