Abstract

Salvador Fábregas’ work has been unknown outside of local architecture circles. Its architectural production has been part of the urban and tourist landscape of Gran Canaria, starting on the 60s to this present day. Known among colleagues as a master of reinforced concrete, his work goes further: He has achieved great milestones from single-family housing, as well as in hotels for the then emerging tourism; until his last works in construction and restoration of buildings for religious use, where the quality and thought of his work is obvious, it is placed in the first rank with other architectural works in Spain that have been widely disseminated and recognized with critical acclaim.
