| dc.description.abstract | Seven species of Xyalidae were recorded in intertidal and shallow subtidal sandy bottoms of Tenerife, Canary Islands. These species were: Ammotheristus sp., Amphimonhystera sp., Cobbia truncata Wieser, 1959, Scaptrella cf. cincta, Theristus sp. 1, Theristus sp. 2 and Xyala striata Cobb, 1920. A morphological description, meristic data and figures of each species are provided. | en_US |
