La problématique identitaire au tournant du XXIe siècle à travers deux romans québécois: HKPQ (de M. Plomer) et La mémoire de l’eau (de Y. Chen)

Abstract

Este artículo analiza el problema de la identidad en la literatura quebequesa en los últimos veinte años a través de dos novelas de escritoras de procedencias muy distintas que publican su obra en lengua francesa: Michèle Plomer y Ying Chen. En el mundo globalizado actual, las temáticas literarias se mezclan hasta tal punto que la lengua en la que se escriben constituye la única base común que las identifica y singulariza.

This article analyses the problem of identity in Quebec literature over the last twenty years through two novels by writers from very different origins, who have published their works in French: Michèle Plomer and Ying Chen. In today’s global world, literary themes are interwoven to the point that the language they are written in becomes the only common ground that identifies and distinguishes them.
