| dc.description.abstract | Si bien las lesiones del ligamento cruzado anterior reciben una atención continuada en las publicaciones especializadas, no sucede lo mismo con el ligamento cruzado posterior. De ahí que exista una gran controversia acerca del tratamiento recomendado a pacientes con esta lesión. Aunque se reconoce que la incidencia de lesiones del LCP es claramente inferior a la del LCA, su presentación varía enormemente de una serie a otra, reconociéndose actualmente que la causa fundamental es la ausencia de criterios diagnósticos adecuados.
