Analyse des températures extrêmes aux îles Canaries (Espagne) et leur rapport avec les alerts à la population émises par l'Agence Nationale de Météorologie

Abstract

The extreme values of the thermal regime of the two provincial capitals of the Canary Islands are analyzed in order to establish their frequency, their relationship with risk warning thresholds for heat and their recent tendencies. The results indicate that the increase in heat does not occur around midday, when the temperature is highest, but rather during the night since the frecuency of warm tropical nights is increasing more.
