Abstract: This is a study about the influence of geometrical constraints and considerations in the condition number of the stiffness matrix that is obtained in a typical elasticity problem. Our approach is experimental as we wiU study the influence on one onedimensional parameter ("thickness ratio") in the convergence speed of the method. For the resolution we will use an ANSI-C environment.
