dc.description.abstract | This paper describes both the design and implementation of an optical and guideless link based on IrDA technology and Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum techniques. The main objective of this work is to increase the environment interferences rejection and introduce the multichannel capability in IrDA standard. This system also reduces the multipath dispersion present in the diffuse optical communication channel. The prototype presented in this work converts the IrDA signal (SIR and FIR modes) into a DSSS signal. Besides we propose a synchronization scheme for improving the synchronism recovery, one of the most important processes in DSSS demodulation. | en_US |
