It offers a vaste amount of unregulated bandwidht that can be used in applications as Body Area Networks, wearable devices and vehicular communications. New trends as colourspace-based modulations, optical camera-based receivers or embedded 2D coding will be presented, as well as the new boundaries opened by the new IEEE 802.15.7r standard.en_US
