| dc.description.abstract | Lipid extracts of 40 macroscopic seaweeds (Chlorophyta, Rhodophyta and ·Phaeophyta) were assayed for their antimicrobial activities against four microorganisms. Sorne degree of antibacterial activity was found to be present in 9 of these extracts, while none was active against yeast.
