Propuesta de creación de un centro de talasoterapia público en el islote del Amor: Recursos para el desarrollo de la sostenibilidad a través del turismo saludable

Abstract

Se ha realizado una investigación sobre la situación actual de la talasoterapia en el mundo para conocer su relación con el turismo, en especial con el destino de Lanzarote a través de varios estudios exploratorios. Partiendo de que el turismo debe ser saludable en sí mismo y debe tender al desarrollo de la sostenibilidad, se propone a partir de la información obtenida en este trabajo, la creación de un centro público de talasoterapia en el Islote del Amor, que se incorpore a la Red de Centros Turísticos de Lanzarote.

An investigation on the current situation of the thalassotherapy in the world has been carried out to know its relation with the tourism, especially with the destination of Lanzarote, through several exploratory studies. Starting from the fact that tourism itself must be healthy in its own right and towards the development of sustainability, it is proposed, based on the information obtained in this research, the creation of a public thalassotherapy center in the Islet of Love, which would be incorporated into CACT of Lanzarote.
