In this sense, location-based computing can be used by applications running in portable devices for taking better decisions and improving their performance. As the received signal strength (RSS) from several access points varies with position of device, we based on it for location determination of portable devices. In this paper, we present a location system for IEEE 802.11 infrastructure networks based on triangulation method.
