Resumen: This paper analyzes the main characteristics of the aeolian dynamics and dune evolution in the Corralejo coastal dunefield. This is an area with limited sediment supply and subjected to the action of a quasi-unidirectional wind regime. The governing conditions induce a long-term migration of the dune field in the direction of the wind with an expected long-term change in the landscape due to a change in the sediment supply to the dunefield through the upwind end due to natural and human-induced factors.
