Urinary bladder tumors in dogs. Literature review and unusual clinical case

Abstract

In vast majority of cases canine bladder tumors are transitional cell carcinomas. Among other tumor types in this location are a few descriptions of mesenchymal origin. Complete responses to medical therapy have not been reported. The main objective of this publication is to describe an unusual case in which a dog diagnosed of bladder tumor of muscular origin presented a complete long term remission to metronomic Chlorambucil and NSAIDs. First, a complete review of literature has been included as an initial section of this work
