Main pathologies of the reproductive tract in domestic female rabbits. Bibliographic review and clinical cases.

Abstract

Pathologies related to the reproductive system of domestic rabbits are really frequent. The uterus is the most affected organ, with uterine adenocarcinoma and endometrial hyperplasia standing out as the main pathologies due to their high incidence of occurrence, although many other diseases are described. In the present study, a review of the main pathologies affecting the reproductive tract of the rabbit will be carried out, analysing the predisposing factors, clinical signs, diagnostic methods, as well as the treatments and prognoses of each disease.
