Los orígenes del Turismo en Lanzarote. Hotel Los Fariones

Abstract

En este proyecto se analiza la evolución desde su origen del Hotel Los Fariones, establecimiento emblemático que supuso el punto de partida del desarrollo turístico en la isla de Lanzarote. Para comprender la importancia que ha tenido el Hotel Los Fariones en la historia del turismo insular, se resume tanto la evolución de la oferta hotelera de la isla desde sus inicios en los años cincuenta hasta la actualidad, así como las diversas etapas por las que ha atravesado el desarrollo turístico de Lanzarote.

This project analyzes the evolution since its origin of the Hotel Los Fariones, an emblematic establishment that was the starting point of tourism development on the island of Lanzarote. In order to understand the importance of the Hotel Los Fariones in the history of tourism on the island, it summarizes the evolution of the island's hotel offer from its beginnings in the 1950s to the present, as well as the various stages through which Lanzarote's tourism development has passed.
