La animación turística en Lanzarote. Situación actual y expectativas futuras

Abstract

El presente trabajo versa sobre la animación turística desarrollada en la isla de Lanzarote y las expectativas futuras del mismo. Este servicio se inició de la mano de la apertura de los primeros establecimientos turísticos en este destino. A pesar de su larga trayectoria, la práctica de este servicio apenas se ha visto alterada, pues se siguen realizando actividades muy similares a las planteadas en los años ochenta. Así, se ha realizado una revisión de la situación actual del servicio de animación, tanto a nivel internacional como específicamente en los establecimientos alojativos de Lanzarote, y de la misma manera, testar entre los profesionales de este sector la identidad de realizar cambios en el planteamiento del servicio, de manera que se asegure una supervivencia relacionada con la evolución lógica de este sector clave en la economía de la isla.

This work deals with the developed tourist animation of the Lanzarote island and its future expectations. This service began with the opening of the first tourist establishments in this destination. Despite its long history, the practice of this service has been hardly altered, as activities very similar to those planned in the 1980s continue to be carried out. Thus, it has been carried out a review of the current situation of the animation service, both internationally and specifically in the Lanzarote accommodation establishments, and in the same way, test between tourism professionals of this sector the identity to make changes in this service approach, so as to ensure a survival related to the logical evolution of this key sector in the island's economy.
