Abstract

El trabajo pretende conocer las nuevas experiencias que se ofrecen a la población y a los turistas con base histórica y patrimonial, por parte de diferentes organismos e instituciones administrativas. Este fenómeno es conocido con el nombre de “Recreaciones históricas”, y cumplen diferentes funciones para la localidad o lugar de celebración, y que son imprescindibles tener en cuenta para su estudio y aplicación en otros emplazamientos, a saber: La divulgación de la historia y patrimonio con fines turisticos y educativos, así como la generación de ingresos para su conservación. La generación de sentimientos de pertenencia e identidad por parte de la población local con su entorno y el conocimiento de su legado. La activación o creación de un nuevo recurso económico en la región. Impulsar una experiencia lúdico – festiva que enriquezca y atraiga visitantes, así como que fomente las relaciones sociales entre la población local.
