Aspectos esenciales que servirán de base para la redacción del Plan de Seguridad y Salvamento de la playa de Las Teresitas

Abstract

El siguiente trabajo de fin de grado se ha orientado sobre la necesidad de adaptación a la nueva normativa de Playas, Decreto 116/2018, de 30 de julio de 2018, por el que se regulan medidas para la aplicación de las normas e instrucciones para la seguridad humana y para la coordinación de las emergencias ordinarias y de protección civil en playas y otras zonas de baño marítimas de la Comunidad Autónoma de Canarias. Boletín Oficial de Canarias. Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 7 de agosto de 2018, núm. 152. (En adelante, Decreto 116/2018). Y por ende, a la adaptación a la misma de la playa de Las Teresitas, en Santa Cruz de Tenerife, que actualmente carece de Plan de Seguridad y Salvamento y por lo tanto, no se adapta a la citada normativa. Se hace referencia a los aspectos esenciales para la realización del Plan de Seguridad y Salvamento de la citada playa, la cual sin ser una playa con un alto índice de incidencias en el medio acuático, como veremos a continuación, observaremos que por sus características es una playa muy frecuentada durante todo el año y por lo tanto con un número de incidencias en la misma que hacen más importante la implementación de un Plan de Seguridad y Salvamento. También abordaremos, la necesidad de realización de dicho Plan por parte de un Técnico Redactor acreditado para ello y hemos querido incidir en este punto y en la importancia de las características del mismo a la hora de la elaboración y redacción del Plan, adaptado a las necesidades específicas del medio donde se realiza.

The following Degree Final Project has been oriented on the need to adapt to the new beaches regulation, Decree 116/2018, of July 30, 2018, by which means are regulated for the application of the rules and instructions for the human security and for the coordination of ordinary emergencies and civil protection on beaches and other maritime bathing areas of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands, Official Bulletin of the Canary Islands, Santa Cruz of Tenerife, August 7, 2018, no. 152. (hereinafter, Decree 116/2018). And therefore, to the adaptation to it of the Teresitas beach, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, which currently lacks a Safety and Rescue Plan and, therefore, does not adapt to the aforementioned regulations. Reference is made to the essential aspects for carrying out the Safety and Rescue Plan of the aforementioned beach, which without being a beach with a high incidence rate in the aquatic environment, as we will see below, we will observe that due to its characteristics it is a very frequented beach throughout the year and therefore with a number of incidents in it that make the implementation of a Safety and Rescue Plan more important. We will also address the need for this Plan to be carried out by a Certified Technician for this purpose and we wanted to focus on this point and the importance of its characteristics when preparing and writing the Plan, adapted to the needs specific to the environment where it is carried out.
