Revitalizar el patrimonio arquitectónico en desuso

Abstract

Recuperar el patrimonio arquitectónico en desuso y abandonado incorporando nuevos usos supone un reto importante para la sociedad actual. El profundo conocimiento de la historia, del marco legislativo, de las tipologías constructivas y de los materiales de construcción de los edificios históricos además de poseer una cierta sensibilidad serán las herramientas imprescindibles para reducir las incertidumbres en las intervenciones a realizar en el patrimonio arquitectónico.

Recovering the disused and abandoned architectural heritage incorporating new uses represents a major challenge for today’s society. The deep knowledge of the history, the legislative framework, the constructive typologies and the construction materials of the historical buildings, in addition to possessing a certain sensitivity will be the essential tools to reduce uncertainties in the interventions to be done in the architectural heritage.
