The system combines a supercritical CO2 regenerative Brayton cycle with a gas turbine, a solar tower, an organic Rankine cycle and a reverse osmosis (RO) desalination system. A thermodynamic simulation has been performed for the complex proposed system. In addition, Energy, Exergy, Exergoeconomic, Exergoenvironmental and Emergy (5E) analysis are performed. To better evaluate the proposed system, advanced 5E analysis have been performed based on the calculation of the exogenous/endogenous and avoidable/unavoidable parts of the exergy destructions. A computer program has been developed for the thermodynamic simulation and the 5E analysis. Thermodynamic simulations have been verified with Thermoflex software with high accuracy. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10553/75578 | Source: | ECOS 2020 - Proceedings of the 33rd International Conference on Efficiency, Cost, Optimization, Simulation and Environmental Impact of Energy Systems[EISSN ], p. 191-202, (Enero 2020) |
