Título: | Histopathological study of greater amberjack ("Seriola dumerili") reared under different temperatures | Autores/as: | Segura Bernal, Tomás Kristuel | Director/a : | Montero Vítores, Daniel | Clasificación UNESCO: | 251092 Acuicultura marina | Palabras clave: | Seriola dumerili | Fecha de publicación: | 2016 | Resumen: | Improvement of fish production and introduce new species of marine fish in order to diversify the production is necessary to develop the aquaculture. Seriola dumerili (Risso, 1810) is a specie with interest for aquaculture because of its high quality meat and for its easily adaptation to captive culture. One of the most important bottleneck in the production of this species is its susceptibility to diseases associated to parasitic infection, related with immunosuppression. As rearing conditions are not well defined for this species, especial attention must be focused on different environmental parameters and the effect on the immune system. For this reason, is necessary to improve in knowledge about its immune system and factors which affect it. Temperature is a parameter which affect at growth and it is related with the immune system of fish. In this work was done a histopathological study of liver and intestine because of its role in physiology and immune system of fish. | Departamento: | Departamento de Biología | Facultad: | Facultad de Ciencias del Mar | Titulación: | Grado en Ciencias del Mar | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10553/74451 |
