La acción tutorial en la enseñanza universitaria

Abstract

La acción tutorial y orientación al estudiante en el ámbito universitario tiene distintos objetivos y finalidades. En cada facultad existe un plan de acción tutorial para cubrir las necesidades de los estudiantes que pertenecen a dicha facultad y que se adecuan a la misma. En este artículo, se presenta la experiencia como tutora de un grupo perteneciente a la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria durante un curso académico, para realizar un análisis del plan tutorial establecido a priori y determinar si realmente es efectivo y ejecuta los objetivos previstos en el plan, o si por el contrario no cumple con las expectativas.

The tutorial action and the student orientation at university has different aims and purposes. Each faculty has its own tutorial action plan to cover the necessities of those students who belong to it and that adjusts to the faculty. In this article, the experience as a tutor of a course, in the Faculty of Teacher Training in the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria during an academic year, is offered in order to analyse the established tutorial plan and determine if it is effective and covers the expected objectives, or if, on the contrary, it doesn’t achieve the expectations.
