Issue Date: | 1992 | Journal: | Computes Rendus - Academie des Sciences, Serie II: Mecanique, Physique, Chimie, Astronomie | Abstract: | In Fuerteventura Canary Island, a past sea level with equatorial fauna is observed between -2 m and +3 m relative to the upper limit of the current intertidal zone. Two samples collected at +0.50 m are U/Th dated at 106 +/- 7 ka and 112 +/- ka. It brings evidence for year-round sea surface temperatures warmer than 23-degrees-C during isotopic stage 5, possibly 5 c. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10553/71857 | ISSN: | 1251-8069 | Source: | Comptes Rendus De L Academie Des Sciences Serie II [ISSN 1251-8069],v. 314 (2), p. 203-208, (Enero 1992) |
