Cuerpo y texto. Reflexiones en torno a la teoría literiaria de Hélène Cixous

Abstract

En este artículo se analizan dos de las ideas más importantes que conforman el pensamiento de la filósofa francesa y crítica literaria Hélène Cixous, las de cuerpo y texto. Dos nociones clave para entender el pensamiento de esta intelectual y para acercarnos a la que es su mayor contribución: la creación y teorización del concepto escritura femenina, desarrollado en el emblemático ensayo La risa de la medusa (1979). El análisis de los vínculos existentes entre el cuerpo y el texto nos permite entender la importancia que tiene la literatura como manifestación que posibilita la aprehensión de la experiencia y de la escritura femenina como práctica que permite mostrar la subjetividad de las mujeres, darles voz y permitirles la entrada en un discurso que tradicionalmente ha sido masculino y patriarcal, como sujetos válidos portadores de identidad y de historia.

This article discusses two of the most important ideas that make up the thought of literary criticism and French philosopher Helene Cixous, body and text. Two keywords to understand the thought of this intellectual and approach that is his greatest contribution: the creation and theorizing of the concept women's writing, developed in the emblematic essay The laugh of the Medusa (1979). The analysis of the links between the body and the text allows us to understand the importance that has the literature as a manifestation that allows the seizure of the experience and the women's writing as a practice that allows to show the subjectivity of women, give them a voice and allow them entry into a discourse that has traditionally been male and patriarchal, as valid subjects carrying of identity and history.
