Title: | Model driven engineering (MDE) applied to complex simulations | Authors: | Evora Gomez,Jose Hernández Cabrera, José Juan |
UNESCO Clasification: | 33 Ciencias tecnológicas | Keywords: | MDE Domain specific language (DSL) |
Issue Date: | 2016 | Abstract: | The use of MDE to deal with simulations of complex systems enhances the productivity and helps to define an ontology around the domain under study. Our research group has been working with MDE for 20 years and 7 years on its application to complex system simulations. In this tutorial, we will present the new version of Tafat: a framework for building simulators based on MDE. Tafat includes a simulation engine and a Domain Specific Language (DSL) which allows to describe the domain to be simulated. This tutorial will show how to use Tafat, how to define a domain to be simulated and how to create a simulation based on the created domain. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10553/56247 | Source: | European Simulation and Modelling Conference 2016 (ESM'16), Octubre, Las Palmas, Spain |
