Sobre el crecimiento de "Ceratoscopelus warmingii" (Luetken, 1892) en aguas de las Islas Canarias

Abstract

Se analizaron 313 ejemplares de Ceratoscopelus warmingii recopilados en 4 campañas científicas en aguas de las islas Canarias. La talla media del total de la muestra de peces fue 45,86 mm de LT, mientra que esta fue 49,48 y 47,45 mm de LT para hembras y machos, respectivamente. En la relación talla-peso se registró un tipo de crecimiento alométrico positivo con valores de b=3,27 y a=0,0031. El factor de condición relativo (Kn) osciló entre 0,94 y 1,18, y tanto hembras como en machos se registró el valor más alto de Kn en noviembre del 2000. Los parámetros de crecimiento del modelo de von Bertalanffy, estimados con los métodos de Powell (1979) y Wetherall (1986), fueron para el conjunto de individuos L∞=90,25 mm, K=0,99 año-1 y t0=-0,35 años, mientras que para las hembras fueron L∞=85,75 mm, K=1,00 año-1 y t0=-0,37 años y para los machos L∞=68,48 mm, K=0,85 año-1 y t0=-0,55 años. Los parámetros de crecimiento estimados en este trabajo, concuerdan bastante con registros de parámetros estimados en otros trabajos para varias especies de la familia Myctophidae.

Were analyzed 313 specimens of Ceratoscopelus warmingii collected in 4 campaigns scientific in waters of the Islands Canary Islands. The mean of the total sample of fish size was 45,86 mm LT, while this was 49,48 and 47,45 LT mm for females and males, respectively. In the relationship length-weight is recorded a type of growth allometric positive with values of b = 3, 27 and a = 0, 0031. The relative condition factor (Kn) ranged from 0.94 to 1.18, and both females as in males the highest value of Kn was recorded in November 2000. The parameters of growth of the model of von Bertalanffy, dear with them methods of Powell (1979) and Wetherall (1986), were for the joint of individuals L∞ = 90, 25 mm, K = 0, 99 year-1 and t0 =-0, 35 years, while for the females were L∞ = 85, 75 mm, K = 1, 00 year-1 and t0 =-0, 37 years and for them males L∞ = 68, 48 mm, K = 0, 85 year-1 and t0 =-0, 55 years. Them parameters of growth estimated in this work, agree fairly with records of parameters estimated in others work for several species of the family Myctophidae.
