Abstract: | This work presents an e-Health framework to aid diagnosis, prognosis and monitoring of Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias (EDEVITALZH) by interacting with Intelligent Systems for Diagnosis. Conceived as an intelligent Clinical Workstation, it provides healthcare professionals methods and tools to perform their examinations in an efficient way. Diagnosis and prognosis will be more accurate, agile and patient-dedicated, allowing time and health resources optimization. Based on Grid Computing, it can be accessed and used securely over the Internet from any healthcare center (primary or specialized care) just by using a web browser. The proposed intelligent Clinical Workstation represents a relevant contribution in Medical Informatics and Telemedicine fields. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10553/54618 | ISBN: | 978-3-642-27578-4 | ISSN: | 0302-9743 | DOI: | 10.1007/978-3-642-27579-1_34 | Source: | Moreno-Díaz R., Pichler F., Quesada-Arencibia A.
