Title: | Vapor liquid equilibria at 101.32 kPa mixtures of butyl esters and propan-2-ol | Authors: | Gonzalez, E Ortega, Juan |

Issue Date: | 1996 | Publisher: | 0021-9592 | Journal: | Journal of Chemical Engineering of Japan | Abstract: | The concentrations of the vapor-liquid equilibria have been measured in a small capacity recirculating still for the binaries composed of four butyl esters (from methanoate to butanoate) and propan-2-ol at a constant pressure of 101.32 kPa. VLE data were thermodynamically verified with the point-to-point test and the predictions made using several group-contribution models were acceptable but with some exceptions, An azeotrope was found for (x(1)butyl methanoate+x(2)propan-2-ol) at x(1) = y(1) = 0.038 and T = 351.9 K. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10553/53868 | ISSN: | 0021-9592 | DOI: | 10.1252/jcej.29.294 | Source: | Journal Of Chemical Engineering Of Japan[ISSN 0021-9592],v. 29 (2), p. 294-299 |
