But the design of these services is a hard task due to the inherent restrictions and problems of these networks (as well as the restrictive computing power of wireless terminal devices). Object Oriented Programming paradigm fails when it is used to program these kind of services over heterogeneous devices (wireless devices and robust and powerful fixed devices) due to its low productivity and reusability. In order to solve these problems we explore in this paper the applicability of a new programming paradigm named Aspect Oriented Programming (AOP). Refactorizing an existing middleware allow us to isolate some wireless concerns like channel failures, range control and spurious disconnections.
