Abstract: Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is not a single disease, but a group of diseases caused by mutations in genes encoding different sarcomeric proteins. The phenotype expression depends on multiple genetic and environmental factors. In this paper, we describe a familial case of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy during pregnancy, and the options available for management during pregnancy and delivery.
