Abstract: The excess molar volumes VmE of (benzene + each of several isomers of hexanol) have been obtained at 298.15 K over the whole range of mole fractions from densities measured with a vibrating tube densimeter. Variable-degree polynomials of a type proposed by Myers and Scott have been fitted to the experimental results.
