dc.description.abstractExcess molar enthalpies HmE of {a methyl n-alkanoate (from n-hexanoate to n-pentadecanoate) + n-pentadecane} were obtained at 298.15 K and atmospheric pressure using a Calvet microcalorimeter. The HmEs are positive over the entire composition range for all the mixtures studied, decreasing quasi-exponentially with lengthening of the aliphatic chain of the methyl ester. © 1990.
