Title: | HEm{xCH3(CH2)v−1CO2CH3 (v = 5 or 6 or … or 14) + (1 − x)CH3(CH2)11CH3, 298.15 K} | Authors: | Ortega, J. | Issue Date: | 1991 | Publisher: | 0021-9614 | Journal: | Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics | Abstract: | Excess molar enthalpies measured in a Calvet microcalorimeter are reported for the 10 mixtures: {xCH3(CH2)v-1CO2CH3 (v = 5 to 14) + (1 - x)CH3(CH2)11CH3} at 298.15 K and atmospheric pressure. All the mixtures show positive excess enthalpies which decrease with increasing chain length v of the methyl ester. The dependence of HEm at x = 0.5 on the number of carbon atoms of the ester shows a quasi-exponential variation. © 1991 Academic Press Limited All rights reserved. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10553/52144 | ISSN: | 0021-9614 | DOI: | 10.1016/S0021-9614(05)80087-4 | Source: | The Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics[ISSN 0021-9614],v. 23, p. 327-331 |
