dc.description.abstractIn twenty five operated patients of cardiac valve replacement with the aid of cardiopulmonary bypass, 5 samples of blood were obtained in order to investigate the thyroid hormones: TSH, T4T, T4L, T3T, T3L and T3R. Considering the results obtained, an Euthyroid Sick Syndrome is present until the 5° postoperative day.
