Abstract: The spatial electronic correlation introduced by the omega model in the beryllium ground state wave-function is analyzed in terms of the so-called correlation factors versus different basis set for developing the omega orbitals. The basis effect on the correlation factor is found irrelevant. It is concluded that the different behaviors of the correlation factors found in the beryllium and lithium atoms must be explained in different way.
