Abstract: Sulphates and nitrates vertical profiles were measured in Les Landes forest using filter packs. From these data dry deposition fluxes and velocities were calculated by means of the gradient method. Micrometeorological parameters were evaluated using both the gradient method and the eddy correlation technique. The average values of the deposition velocities were 0.53 and 0.17 cm s-1 for nitrates and sulphates respectively. The influence of (-1/L)2/3 on the standardized deposition velocity (Vd/u*) is examined and compared for both aerosols.
