Issue Date: | 2011 | Publisher: | 0021-9568 | Journal: | Journal of Chemical & Engineering Data | Abstract: | Densities and viscosities of the binary mixtures of diethyl carbonate (DEC) with ethanol, 1-propanol, 1-pentanol, and1-octanol were measured over the entire mole fraction at (288.15, 293.15, 303.15, and 313.15) K and normal atmospheric pressure. Moreover, the excess molar enthalpies for the present binary mixtures were determined at 303.15 K. Other mixing properties such asthe excess molar volumes have been also obtained for each of the systems and temperatures. The composition viscosity data werecorrelated with several specific equations to evaluate their suitability for these systems. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10553/46802 | ISSN: | 0021-9568 | DOI: | 10.1021/je1013476 | Source: | Journal of Chemical and Engineering Data [ISSN 0021-9568], v. 56, p. 2841-2848 |
