dc.description.abstract | Vapor-liquid equilibrium data for the binary systems of ethyl acetate + methanol, ethyl acetate + ethanol and ethyl acetate + 1-propanol at 0.3 MPa were determined. The experimental data were verified with the point-to-point test of van Ness (1973). All these systems present an azeotropic point at 0.3 MPa that increases in ester composition for longer alcohol chains. The UNIFAC in different versions and ASOG prediction models were applied. © 2012 Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China (CIESC) and Chemical Industry Press (CIP). | en_US |
