JIMENA 1, 2is an opacity code that solves self-consistently, for each temperature and density, the radial Dirac equation with a local spherically symmetrical potential. Very recently we have developed a new opacity code, called ANALOP, that uses an analytical potential [3], which can include density and temperature effects for atomic data calculations. Opacities are determined with these two codes for selected elements at different plasma conditions. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10553/46411 | ISSN: | 0168-9002 | DOI: | 10.1016/S0168-9002(98)00365-9 | Source: | Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research, Section A: Accelerators, Spectrometers, Detectors and Associated Equipment [ISSN 0168-9002], v. 415, p. 539-542 |
