Following a digital image enhancement, binarisation and thinning algorithm to obtain the thinned ridge map, the verification system performs a matching based on ridge endings and bifurcations. A performance of EER=0.017 is obtained from 4332 tests using 38 individuals. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10553/44101 | ISSN: | 0013-5194 | DOI: | 10.1049/el:20064418 | Source: | Electronics Letters[ISSN 0013-5194],v. 42, p. 391-393 |
