| dc.description.abstract | In this article we describe a system whose purpose is to provide services, such as payment information at route, etc to the passenger public transport. The system carries out its mission integrating the mobiles local devices of the passengers (pdas and mobile telephones) and using wireless local communications (Bluetooth and Wifi IEEE 802.11). It addresses three important aspects of the system: its architecture, the scheme for implementing the applications that run on mobile devices and its security mechanisms. | en_US |
