Abstract: The purpose of this paper is the analysis of the territorial cohesion level that has been achieved during last years in The Canary Islands for what the demographic growth is used like main indicator of this fact. Thus, firstly, we analyse some of the principal factors of the socioeconomic regional growth carried out from 1991 to 2001.
