Abstract: The possibility of reusing software results in a reduction in cost and time. This requires modularity, abstraction and a certain degree of commitment to favour the application of the methods, techniques and procedures which have been used in a different domain. Due to the inherent complexity of KBS, it is essential to reuse those processes and structures which have proved successful in analogous domains in order to simplify the development process. In this paper, we present four different applications in which the reusing of the same PSM has provided satisfactory results and, at the same time, the main aspects that difficult the reusing are analysed.
